On Tuesday, November 10th, Keller Williams celebrated the Grand Opening of the real estate leader’s new brick-and-mortar store in La Canada-Flintridge with flair! Beginning at 5:00 p.m., fellow real estate agents, guests, and community members were treated to a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony, a speech by real estate broker and owner Nick Avedissian, complimentary beverages, and catering by local favorite Paradise Bakery. Pat Anderson of the La Canada Chamber of Commerce was also on hand to help welcome Keller Williams to the neighborhood.
According to Keller Williams real estate agent Vahe Zargarian, the new location illustrates the success of the international realty company, especially in local real estate markets like Glendale and Burbank. The 2,300 square-foot office will be home for approximately 20 agents, and will provide La Canada residents with a much-needed real estate resource.
As if to reaffirm Keller Williams’ positive impact on the community, the new store wasted no time in organizing a “Thank-A-Soldier” care box collection drive in honor of Veterans Day. Held on November 14th (just four days after opening!), the La Canada real estate agents welcomed residents to their 842 Foothill Blvd location to drink coffee, eat pastries, and drop off items – socks, toothpaste, shaving cream, snakcs, DVDs, playing cards, and more – to be send to United States soldiers abroad. By day’s end, the La Canada Keller Williams had collected enough items for 43 care packages, bringing Keller Williams’ total contribution to over 3,000 boxes!
Thank you, once again, for welcoming Keller Williams to the community and helping to bring happiness to our soldiers overseas!
