Operated by the the Glendale Unified School District, Glendale’s public school are some of the highest-achieving in Los Angeles County. Nine of the city’s public schools have earned the U.S. Office of Education’s highest designation, the National Blue Ribbon, 25 have received recognition as California State Distinguished Schools, and 17 campuses have have been named Title I Achieving Schools.
